Understanding career development theory through experiential and skill-based learning. Active practice of career management, networking, negotiation, goal setting, and development planning skills.
The Russell Palmer Career Management Center hosts the next career/academic track focused alumni panel. Companies include:
Google, Microsoft, Applied Materials
If students were awarded a Graduate Assistantship in their acceptance letter, you are required to attend this training. We will be reviewing assignments and completing appropriate paperwork.

The incoming class will receive their welcome gifts and headshots from MBA Programs.
10:30 AM – 11:00 AM
The Associate Dean for MBA and Masters Programs will welcome the Class of 2027!
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
During this session, you will learn important pieces that will add to your success of being a Michigan State University student.
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Students have the opportunity to take a break for the day and also grab some lunch.
1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
The Assistant Dean will talk to the students about surveys throughout the time you are here and their importance.
1:30 PM – 2:00 PM
The Assistant Dean will introduce the location we are going this year and talk about previous experiences students have had.
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
The incoming class will complete the RCR requirements and must show that they have completed each module before leaving for the day.
9:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Students will arrive during this time and any questions/clarifications will be answered.
10:00 AM – 10:30 AM
William Horton-Anderson will guide in the new class around the complex where they will spend majority of their two years!

The MBA Programs will answer any questions individuals may have from the day before providing a social activity to get to know the surrounding campus and provide more time with your team.

A formal welcome event for the Class of 2026, Class of 2027, program leadership, and faculty. Meet with your fellow members of the program, and learn about the various student resource groups that can build a stronger sense of community!

Welcome Class of 2026 and 2027!
Come join your fellow first- and second-years as we tour the campus and enjoy a local staple! Following the SRG Fair, we will be talking a brief walking tour of MSU's campus to see spots like Spartan Stadium, the library, and the MSU Dairy Store where we will enjoy some ice cream.
We will leave Minkskoff immediately following the fair and will end the tour back at Minskoff.
All are welcome to join!
